Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: May 13, 2026

SafeASIN does not sell or share your personal information.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information. Other state privacy laws (e.g., Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah) grant comparable rights.

As of the date above, SafeASIN does not sell or share personal information in any form, to any third party, for monetary or other valuable consideration, and we do not process personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no opt-out for you to exercise because there is no sale or sharing taking place.

We provide this page because the law requires us to publish a clear opt-out link even when the answer is "we don't do that."

What does "sell" and "share" mean here?

TermCCPA / CPRA definition
SellSelling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, or otherwise communicating a consumer's personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.
ShareDisclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not for monetary or other valuable consideration.

We do neither. We use a small number of sub-processors strictly to operate the service (hosting, database, payments, email delivery, error monitoring, customer support tools). Disclosures to those sub-processors are made under written agreements that prohibit them from using your data for their own purposes. See our Privacy Policy § 5 — Sub-processors for the current list of sub-processors.

How to confirm or change this in the future

If our practices ever change such that we begin selling or sharing personal information in the CCPA/CPRA sense, we will:

  1. Update this page before the change takes effect.
  2. Provide a working opt-out mechanism (such as a form or a Global Privacy Control browser signal handler) directly on this page.
  3. Notify existing users by email at least 30 days in advance.

Until then, no opt-out action is required from you.

How to contact us

To exercise any other California privacy right (right to know, right to delete, right to correct), or to ask a question about this notice, contact us:

  • Email: privacy@safeasin.com — please put "CCPA request" in the subject line so we can route it correctly
  • Subject access portal: contact us at the email above and we will provide an authenticated request channel

We respond within 45 days as required by CCPA § 1798.130.

Authorized agent requests

You may use an authorized agent to make a privacy request on your behalf. To do so, the agent must provide:

  1. Written, signed authorization from you naming the agent and the request scope.
  2. A method by which we can verify your identity (e.g., last login email, last 4 of the payment method).

We will not respond to agent requests that fail either verification step. This requirement is consistent with CCPA § 1798.135(c).

This notice is provided for compliance with Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.135. It does not create any obligations beyond those imposed by applicable law and should not be read as a contract.
